We also collect demographic information when you open an account, including, date of birth, occupation, etc. and information about your transactions with us. We also assess your trading experience, your approximate annual income and approximate net worth to assess your financial position.

We use personal information only as appropriate to provide you with quality service and security.

Client information held by Globex360 is used for:

Creating and handling your account;

Reviewing your current requirements;

Enhancing our platforms, services and customer support;

Providing you with trading advice and information about opportunities.

You may change your preferences at any time by contacting a Client Services representative. An opt-out election made by one account owner of a joint account is applicable to all account owners of the joint account. An opt-out election must be made for each separate account you hold with us.

USE OF “COOKIES”

We use cookies to assist us in securing your trading activities and to enhance the performance of our Website. (Cookies are small text files sent from the Web server to your computer.) Cookies used by us do not contain any personal information nor do they contain account or password information. They merely allow the site to recognise that a page request comes from someone who has already logged on. 

We may share Website usage information about visitors to the Website with reputable advertising companies for targeting our Internet banner advertisements on this site and other sites. For this purpose, pixel tags (also called clear gifs or web beacons) may be used to note the pages you’ve visited. The information collected by the advertising company through the use of these pixel tags is not personally identifiable.

Your Rights

Your Rights As per the data protection laws that govern our services, all traders are entitled to obtain personal information regarding them from Globex360 and inform us about any inaccuracy perceived. If you wish to make an enquiry, you may email us at support@globex360.co.za. If there are no legal restrictions on sharing the information we will acknowledge and execute your request within 30 days of your request. You might have to incur some the cost of finding, reviewing, and sending across the requested material.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT

Globex360 reserves the right to, from time to time, update this Privacy Statement. In the event we change this Privacy Statement, the revised Privacy Statement will be posted to our Website and we will post a notice on our Website informing clients of such changes. Clients agree to accept posting of a revised Privacy Statement electronically on the Website as actual notice to you. Any dispute over our Privacy Statement is subject to this notice and our Terms
and Conditions. We encourage clients to periodically check back and review this policy so that you always will know what information we collect, how we use it, and to whom we disclose it.
